SAN SALVADOR, September 20, 2024 β Mi Primer Bitcoin, a bitcoin education non-profit rooted in El Salvador, has announced its 4th Bitcoin Educators Unconference. Following the highly successful events in San Salvador, Madeira, and Nashville, this new event will go back to the place where it all began exactly one year ago: El Salvador. The event is held on November 14, and it starts at 10 a.m.
The bitcoin-only Unconference embodies the vision and mission of the organization to educate and empower the world. Mi Primer Bitcoin aims to bring passionate bitcoin enthusiasts together, fostering collaboration and networking. The event is rooted in the principles of an impartial, independent, decentralized, and community-led organization.
Attendance is limited to 150 individuals. Contrary to regular conferences, this Unconference is a place where every attendee is a (potential) speaker, as everyone has the chance to pitch their ideas at the start of the event, which will subsequently will be grouped in separate breakout rooms.
Previous Unconferences have been attended by industry thought leaders, like Jeff Booth, Preston Pysh and Natalie Brunell, but it attracts all type of builders and educators from all around the world. The Early Bird ticket sale has started for just $35, and the first speakers have submitted their ideas for a pitch already. Come early, pitch your ideas, claim a slot in the agenda and ignite a movement!
The sessions and activities are designed to reflect the bitcoin ethos: decentralized and collaborative events. This means that we will be creating this event all together, with input from all attendees. Past editions brought fruitful discussions about global education networks, grassroots adoption, bitcoin communities, gamification of resources, tools for the youth, and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with industry professionals and enthusiasts, gain insights into the latest projects in the field of bitcoin education, and have high-signal talks with other bitcoiners. You can engage in meaningful discussions and share insights with others, as the schedule is created by all attendees.
This 4th Unconference will be held at Cadejo Brewing Company on top of a mountain, on November 14, one day before Adopting Bitcoin in San Salvador. Complimentary drinks (coffee, tea, beer), snacks and lunch will be served on location, and are included in the ticket price.
