We are very proud to announce and welcome a new Board of Directors (BoD) and new Board of Advisors (BoA). Both boards play a role in shaping the future of My First Bitcoin through the lens of creating a strategy that puts the mission and vision in practice.
New Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the primary decision-making body at Mi Primer Bitcoin, guiding the organization’s strategic direction and ensuring we stay true to our mission of empowering individuals through free, open-source, high-quality Bitcoin education.
First of all, we want to thank Roberto Magaña and Reyna Chicas for serving as board members over the past two years. As the organization grows, we are widening our circle and improving our internal organizational structures.
One of the next steps is ensuring there is no overlap between the Board of Directors and the operational department heads, currently consisting of Quentin Ehrenmann (General Manager), Arnold Hubach (Director of Communications and Events), Reyna Chicas (Director of Education), and Roberto Magaña (Director of Finance and Administration).
With this in mind, we’re proud to announce that the Assembly has voted unanimously on the following board positions:
All members have extensive experience with Bitcoin projects and live in El Salvador, understanding both the unique approach of My First Bitcoin and the local context. The board will set strategic priorities (evaluate and approve new initiatives, partnerships, and policies), oversee the organization’s financial health and uphold its mission.

Additionally, My First Bitcoin has installed the very first Board of Advisors (BoA), consisting of the following individuals:
The Advisory Board exists to guide and strengthen My First Bitcoin’s mission of empowering individuals through free, open-source, high-quality Bitcoin education. Through the expertise, vision, and network of these three advisors, the organization will benefit from a unique outsider’s perspective.
